Last year, when I had a lot more time on my hands, I discovered Vongo, which is a direct movie download service run by the same people who run Starz. For $9.99 a month (less than $0.34 a day) you can download an unlimited number of movies in their library — many of which are new — and watch them on your desktop computer or on your laptop. I’ve used it on my laptop to hook up some movies to our projection TV so that the kids and I could watch. I love the service, and the only thing that stopped me from continuing to use it was that I had far too much going on in my life to allow me time to watch all the movies in the library.
