Check out the two pictures above. Looks like a Wii controller, doesn’t it? Well, it’s not. It’s a very clever knockoff off the design of the Wii controller but it’s for a simple baseball game. See that small LCD screen that harkens back to the dim and distant days of Nintendo’s original handheld games? That’s where you get to play the game.

I didn’t spend too long looking at this because we were in the store late, but you can pick this and other games up that use “tilt” control at Walmart for $6.88.  I suppose it’s the sort of thing you could leave around to pretend that you’ve been able to pick up a Wii during the current shortage.

Speaking of Wiis, it looks like there are going to be some available at Meijers stores again this weekend. I’ll post more information later on that.
