Deals: Toys R Us Deals & Clearance
Right now there’s a clearance sale going on at Toys R Us online and in-store: buy any copy of Madden ‘08 and you can get a number of other games for 50% off. The full list of games can be found online here.
Also, all orange label clearance items in-store are an additional 20% off the sticker price. In my local store they’ve thrown a lot of PS2, GBA, PSP, DS and Xbox games into clearance buckets and prices range from $4.99 to $8.99 before discount. Make sure you check out your local store to see what they’ve got. I did happen to see Lumines for the PSP there for $9.99 so if you don’t have it yet and want the full game instead of the crippled version on Xbox Live Arcade you know where to get it.
I’ve been keeping an eye on the clearance items at the two local stores and found a couple of really good finds, especially since clearance items in-store are 20% off:
* Rumble Roses XX for 360 for $8
* Gran Turismo 4 for $8
Also found from the Morse Rd. store that they were giving the half off on ANY other game. As in, buy Madden 08 and get Guitar Hero 2 for half off ($45 instead of $90) … she thought this was a glitch but was offering it anyways!
