Play: A Day In The Life Of A Guild Warrior (A Photostory)
It's not easy being a good guy in today's world. It's even harder in the world of Guild Wars. Look what just happened to my main character, Daryan Banobar one day.
See, there he is, unconscious on the floor after drinking one too many. Okay, so he drank twenty too many. Let's go in for a close-up.
Good thing I have his Archer Mask on, or you'd see all the drool that's currently pooling around his mouth. When he's horizontal, he drools. We try not to talk about that. It's too uncomfortable to talk about. When he woke up, someone had jacked him and ran off with all his clothes and his weapons! Of course, when Daryan tried to get some help from the local militia, nothing much happened.
They were less than understanding and told him to get the hell out of their faces. Okay, so they didn't use language as polite as that. Daryan was going to have to find his clothes on his own. He asked everyone around him for help, even a midget Asura, who are not known for being helpful. They're mostly known for hating humans. Oh, and they've got sharp teeth. Doing the following is not recommended around an Asura, even if they look all cute.
With no-go on this investigation into the loss of his clothes, Daryan was down in the dumps. What an incredible smell he discovered. At that point, one of the guild members popped along to see who the mostly naked guy was that was sitting in front of a giant dragon turd contemplating his options. She was most unimpressed to see it was her beau. Check out the look of disgust on her face as Daryan drops a troll bomb.
Want to know the worst part? Someone though Daryan was a noob because of his sad state of affairs and running around sans clothes. This almost led to fisticuffs when someone noticed a pile of clothes with the name D. Banobar written on the inside label. Our fearless hero let them know they were his clothes, even though the clothes were in even less than better shape than they had been. Seems a giant had needed a hanky on short notice.
Now Daryan doesn't need to save up for new clothes. Well, apart from a new pair of Hanes undies. Take a look at the massive hole in his current undies. Maybe if he stopped spending all of his money on booze and falling unconscious in the street.
Note: This isn't actually what happened. It's all made up. Apart from the Asura hating humans and having pointy teeth.Okay, I admit it. I did a streak run during part of the game.
